My roommate and longtime friend is moving out to live with his girlfriend. So, I need someone to take over his room, otherwise I will need to move out.
Our lease ends September 30th. So I need someone to move in October 1st.
About the Apartment:

- 1.5 Blocks from Wrigley Field
- 1 Block from Red Line
- Less than one block from Restaurants
(sushi, Mexican, Thai, Italian, Korean, etc.)

- Newly Remodeled Kitchen
- Adequate common space (including a 50” HDTV)
- Common space is furnished—but I would certainly be open to some new stuff.
- Extremely large storage closet
- Private access to the building’s communal laundry (There are four units all together in the building. Doing Laundry is very easy and convenient)
Your Room:
- 25’ x 11’ (Its very Large)
Price: You will pay $649/ month which includes heat, water, & electric. A nice deal. There is a security deposit required of the same amount.
About Me:
- Born and raised in city of Chicago
- U of Michigan grad ‘07
- Avid sports fan (Cubs, Bears, Bulls, & Wolverines)
- I currently teach at a school walking distance from the apartment (one of the many reasons I do not want to move).
- As a teacher I go to bed relatively early, but enjoy a good time on the weekend.
- I’ve never posted anything on Craigslist before.
The only thing I can really think of for you is that you can keep the apartment clean and that you do not smoke. It would be nice if you had a schedule with normal working hours. My current roommate works a 9-5 in the Loop and he usually wakes up right when I leave the house so it works out perfectly for both of us.
